About
Abu Dhabi Network — Route 2 is a placeholder for the second corridor in the emirate-wide eVTOL network that the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO), the General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA), Abu Dhabi Mobility (the Integrated Transport Centre, an affiliate of the Department of Municipalities and Transport) and Abu Dhabi Airports launched on 10 November 2025.
Only Zayed International Airport (AUH) and Al Bateen Executive Airport (AZI) are confirmed as Phase 1 anchor vertiports. The Abu Dhabi Government Media Office release stated that further sites and intercity routes are to be announced in subsequent phases. The network strategy names Yas Island, Saadiyat Island and Abu Dhabi Island as connection targets, but no public document has paired any two of these into a named second corridor as of 30 April 2026.
