About
Abu Dhabi Aviation (ADA) is the named eVTOL operating partner under Archer Aviation's UAE Launch Edition definitive agreement. Group CEO is Mahmood Al Hameli. ADA's eVTOL role was formalized following the ADIO framework agreement signed with Archer at DRIFTx Abu Dhabi on 25 April 2024 and the subsequent activation as a definitive agreement.
Per Archer's 14 November 2025 IR release, ADIO has activated the framework as a definitive agreement, with first payments flowing from Abu Dhabi Aviation under the Launch Edition program. ADA's pre-existing helicopter operations provide the operational platform for eVTOL integration; the Archer Midnight is the aircraft.
ADA is the operational counterpart for Abu Dhabi's emerging vertiport network (AUH and AZI under construction; Cruise Terminal Hybrid Heliport design-approved). The Archer Midnight completed its first Abu Dhabi flight at AZI on 2 July 2025, with full-envelope desert flight testing concluding 14 November 2025 — ADA was the operating partner throughout.
