The EHang EH216-S is a two-passenger autonomous (pilotless) eVTOL built by EHang Holdings (NASDAQ:EH). It holds the world's first type certificate for an autonomous passenger-carrying eVTOL, issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC).

On 12 June 2024, during the Hajj season, the EH216-S completed its debut flight in Saudi Arabia in Mecca. The flight was supported by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, and the Ministry of Interior. EHang's local partner was Front End Limited Company.

This was the first autonomous passenger-carrying eVTOL trial in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was not a commercial flight — no commercial passenger operations followed.
